The IAH 2021 Gala dinner will take place on Thursday 9 September 2021 at 19.00. The venue is Autoworld located 3,4 km from the congress venue, SQUARE.
Autoworld is located in the exclusive buildings of the Parc du Cinquantenaire, one of the most beautiful locations of our architectonic heritage (built-in 1880).
With its 250 beautifully preserved and restored cars, it is one of the most impressive collections of Europe and most probably also of the world.
The magnificent building that houses Autoworld for more than 30 years welcomed the first-ever Motor and Cycle Show.
It was from 1902 through to 1934, when the halls housing the present ‘Musées de l’Automobile et de l’Air’ were joined (at that time the Esplanade did not exist).
The cars were tailor-made to order – somewhat similar to designers’ clothes. The future owner would purchase a chassis from the car brand and then call on a coachbuilder and together with him define the bodywork.
